"Starship Adventures" Summer Reading Program Logbooks are due Saturday, July 26th.

Children participating in the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library's Summer Reading Program: Starship Adventures must turn in their logbooks on or before Saturday, July 26. The Summer Reading Program requires children to read, or be read to, a minimum of 10 books during the program. Logbooks may be turned in to any library branch, regardless of where the child registered.

A Grand Finale at the First Tennessee Pavilion will take place for program completers and their families on August 2, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Five prizes will be given out every five minutes of the two hour celebration. Prizes range from a gift certificate to Toys “R” Us to a trip to the Challenger Space Camp. Children have to be at the Finale to enter in the drawing. The celebration features games, prizes, storytelling and more. A certificate of completion and prize packets will be presented to all children who complete the program. Children who are unable to attend the finale can pick up their certificates and prize packets from the local library where they registered.
