My family and I spent some time at the Holiday Inn/Chattanooga Choo Choo recently and decided to see this show. It wasn't originally our plan, but other patrons of the hotel had seen it and said that it was a must see. Our 6 year old grandson was not the least bit interested in going and we almost literally had to drag him in to see it. But after the show(s) was over, he was so excited, that we almost literally had to drag him to get him out of there. I never knew that this jewel of an attraction was even in Chattanooga. It is an incredible production. Very energetic, wholesome family fun. It is two 1 hour shows back to back. We first saw the 50's & 60's Rock and Roll show. WOW! what a show! It is a non-stop blast of a program with very talented (and some quite young) musicians, singers & dancers, offering up golden oldies. By the end of the program, the whole audience is up dancing and singing the "Twist". The 2nd hour was Elwood Smooches Choo Choo Cha Boogie Show. It was so sweet and funny and even sometimes pulled at your heartstrings. Elwood is hilarious and somewhat clown like, and he and his crew are great to see whether you are 2 years old or 92 years old. I was most mesmerized by the young female singer. She is ONLY 11 years old, but has such a smooth, silky and grown up voice. It's a little reminiscent to the voice of Patsy Cline. They picked a grandpa from the audience and brought him up on stage and she sang the "Grandpa" song to him. It was so beautiful & touching. We definitely recommend this show to anyone staying in Chattanooga.
